Vintage Popular Music and Jazz
1925-1935

Discover the exciting music from one of the most vibrant decades in popular culture and entertainment.  From the boom times of the "Roaring '20s" to the hard times of the Great Depression...from frantic Charlestons danced to by a generation of flappers to sentimental ballads performed by the early crooners...from the hot jazz bands of the top Harlem nightclubs to the popular dance bands of the formative years of the swing and big band eras, the great music of the 1920s & 1930s lives on and is entertaining a new generation of enthusiastic listeners.  Radio Dismuke features original recordings from the 1925 - 1935 decade and can be heard at no cost from anywhere in the world by anyone with an Internet connection and a sound card equipped computer.

To access the LoudCity stream click on the radio or here.  This will take you to Radio Dismuke's LoudCity launch page. Once there, simply click on your preferred "Tune In" link.

You may also access Radio Dismuke through the Live 365 network.  Click  here to listen!
You may also access the station through its page on the Live365.com website.

Other Ways To Connect

Radio Dismuke may also be accessed through a variety of mobile phone apps - for example, TuneIn.  Data charges may apply so be sure you have a data plan before attempting to listen on a mobile phone.  Because we only play pre-1940 mono recordings our stream is very bandwidth friendly.  One hour of listening will use approximately ten and a half megabytes of data. One gigabyte of data will provide just under one hundred hours worth of listening. (Note: if you are using the Live365 mobile app, plan for one hour of listening to use approximately 14 megabytes of data).

Our Live365 stream may be accessed though the iTunes radio directory under the "Golden Oldies" section.

The station may also be accessed through most stand-alone Internet radio devices - including all that support SHOUTcast streams as well as those which are compatible with vTuner, Reciva or Live365 VIP membership. (We recommend verifying compatibility prior to purchasing such a device).
