My Random Recall Processor (ie: brane) is telling me that Don Howard sang on a Columbia 78 with Ben Selvin in 1930, and again on a Bluebird with Reggie Childs' Roosevelt Hotel band in '33. Who knows what he was doing inbetweentimes - selling neckties on a sidewalk, probably, in that time and place.

Is the full title "Like Me A Little Bit Less (Love Me A Little Bit More)"? That dates it to late '33, if so. Clyde McCoy waxed it about then, as did Gus Arnheim.

About the Phelps twins, sorry, haven't a clue.
