I haven't seen many of her films except for "The Little American" -- yet I find the fact so fascinating that most of the time she was able to pull off playing juvenile roles -- even when she was in her early 30s! I heard that when she was 32 (my age!), she made a film called "Little Annie Rooney", and played a youngster of 12 or 13!

Was she pretty much the only mature actor in those days who was able to get away with this? Or were there others?

Hi LNB!

The only one that would come to my mind (as far as the silent film ladies go) would be Mary Miles Minter , though she was ten years younger than Pickford.

Mary Pickford is great in KIKI. Plus, it features Busby Berkely as dance director.
