Awesome! Love your "look"!! So... that WAS you in that radio photograph! I'd love to create pictures "of yesterday" too... maybe when I have a bigger place and can set up a vintage living room too!

Great photos! Is this a self portrait, or did you have help?!

Very interesting indeed! I though I was nuts about the past! Franky I love the past, but I think it would be too much trouble to dress like that all the time!

Do you ever move to the '40s?

...people had lived where I live before me, that the world didn't start when I was born.
This fascinated me and I couldn't get enough of stories about the past, looking at old houses, photos, etc.
I remember crying because I suddenly realised that things had gotten uglier...

This really speaks to me! I've been finding pictures of San Diego online, and at the Historical Society, and am just sick when I find new pics that i have not seen before... and what used to be where junk is today. I've come to the conclusion that I can never really be happy here in the wrong time. Too much of the great architecture has been tampered with and slowly everything is deteriorating. It seems to be about using it 'till it falls apart, demo it, then build crap nowadays. I "save" some things at the thrift store, like records and old radios, but I only have a little studio with a very small income... I'm just one nutty guy with a deep love for the past... Every day is about basking in the old feeling like I missed out...

Hi MissJo

Welcome to the forum. I think you are going to feel right at home here. I've already mentioned you to a member friend of mine that I think you will find you have a lot in common with. His name is Ian House. I think he is actually reincarnated from the 1920's. biggrin.gif He has a Facebook link that you might check out. American Yesteryear I also viewed your UTube video. Pretty nice. Do you by any chance have a Facebook account or a website?

Where's your computer?! That part of you is "new!!"

Here's another question for you! Have you ever dated a guy who wasn't from your group, and did you dress them up?! LOL

One more thing... I see from all the pictures you posted that your look is more of an every-day functional type clothes... what do you wear "out"? I'd love to see what kind of gown you would wear!

When I date modern men I don't make them dress up although they usually do, eventually.

Jo, if we ever had an evening out I'd wear tails, battle dress or tramp's clothes - as you liked. wink.gif
(I could do it too.)
Good having you here. Maybe we can drum up some traffic to the board - it could use it!
