QUOTE (limden @ Sep 7 2010, 12:12 PM) *
Volume 26 .

Halfway there and time for a re-think. I'm perfectly happy to post these weekly reminders of Randy's latest releases, it's really no trouble at all, but is Bob the only Dismuker to find them helpful? I could just send him a PM each time instead of making this thread longer and longer. Anyone who would like me to continue with the present routine please post to let me know.

Limden

Hi Limden

Well I hope I'm not the only one to find them helpful. I have almost forgotten a few times and if not for the email notice from your post I might have missed out on some of them. We are half way there and I want the complete set. I hope you continue, but if not a PM would be nice. Again thanks for keeping this thread alive.

Hi Limden . I do appreciate your regularity of postings of Randy's releases and would hope that you ride it out to a 100 per cent conclusion. Otherwise an email would be thankfully received.

I usually go direct to http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/albowlly/ to see if the new volume has been released, but sometimes I forget, then Limden's reminder is very useful.

OK, I'm persuaded, thanks! I'll keep going with the present system and here's Volume 25. Strange that last week's volume downloaded amazingly quickly, a few seconds, while this week's took well over 5 minutes. I suppose "it's just one of those things" smile.gif .

Randy is planning to re-post Volumes 45 to 50 on the box.net site very soon.

Volume 25 contains an error - the wrong version of "The Echo of a Song" - so Randy has issued a corrected Volume 25. Full details can be found on the Yahoo! Al Bowlly group site which is often worth visiting.

Limden

.....and this new volume is taking a record-breaking 50 minutes or so to download! Maybe it's best to download while America sleeps?

There's already an updated Volume 24 because a copy of "In Sunny Monterey" has turned up.

Volume 20 . An oddity: item 427a unzips to a m4a file but our old friend Switch effortlessly converts it to mp3 .
