Hello All,
Please excuse me if I'm posting in the wrong area. I truly miss the update for the "Hit of the Week" website and was wondering if anyone would know when it'll be updated.

It's a terrific website and please let me express my appreciation for being able to log into it. I was just wondering when the January update will take place. I log on to it everyday in anticipation!

Very very Best regards!

There isn't much that gets by Dismuke! Dismuke seems always bends over backwards to assist us in our requests! I've never seen anyone with such attention to deail as our friend as Dismuke!

Are you referring to the selections from Oscar Straus' A Waltz Dream? If so, no plea was necessary on that one. Matt played that one for me over a year ago one of the times I was visiting him and I completely fell for that recording.

A Waltz Dream is my favorite operetta (strictly speaking with regard to the songs - I really don't pay much attention to the librettos or lyrics of such things) and, sadly, it is one that apparently was not recorded all that much.

I think you will enjoy some of the "extras" that Matt will be presenting on some of his Hit of the Week updates in coming weeks and months. There will be some more Edith Lorand recordings as well as quite a number of Victor Herbert selections as well.

Yes Dismuke, the music of Oscar Straus lies exactly within that genre of neglected, unfashionable, melodies I attempted to define elsewhere on your site.

Wonderful news about the forthcoming "extras"!

Thank you for all your efforts, much appreciated.
