To whom ever got this web site going. I want to thank you so much! My Step Father was Will Osborne and I used to listen to his personal records when I was young. I really enjoyed them then. After my mother died and I moved away from his home. I was not able to hear them anymore. That was a loss for me. I have been searching off and on for his music for almost 30 years now, but I have never ran across any. Today I ran across your web site and was thrilled to no end. Thank you so much again! Bob

Dear Bob,

The guy you want to thank is Dismuke. Don't know if he ever goes by his first name. biggrin.gif We all owe him a great debt of gratitude. Thanks Dismuke!!!

Anyhow, Bob, glad to have you aboard the message board. Hope to hear from you in the future. Those of us who know what good music is need to stick together.

Anyway, welcome!

I haven't been here for a while, but I must say I really enjoy this website and this message board. There is a lot of neat stuff here. I believe this nicely put together website is a pleasant G-rated change of pace from a lot of the garbage that's usually found on the Web.

Great work, Dismuke! wink.gif

Welcome BigBandBob and thanks Gregory. Love Will Osborne's version of "As Long As I Live." Wish there was a way to make it less scratchy. Just had another birthday (ugh) but got two CDs: Fred Waring and his Pennyylvanians "We All Scream for Ice Cream" and Fred Hall's Sugar Babies, featuring Arthur Fields. Two great CDs and I thank Dismuke for playing selections from each that made me want to get the entire CD.

Happy Thanksgiving, Gart
